 'Purple Pouch Fungi' (Cortinarius porphyroideus)

The purple pouch mushroom is native and endemic to New Zealand. It is mostly found growing in the leaf litter of beech forests. This drawing was a lot of fun to create with its unusual burst of purple colour. A very cool mushroom!

• This is the one and only original pencil drawing.

• I've added a complementary double-matted border to the drawing so it is ready to frame. All you need to do is pop it into a 12 x 12 inch (or 305mm) size frame. 

• The drawing size is about 21 x 21cm plus the double mat border to make a total size of 305 x 305mm (12 x 12 inches)
